  • Beschrijving: The melancholy story of a juvenile love in the early twentieth century Turin: the student Mario meets and gets engaged to the seamstress Dorina, his landlady’s daughter. A beautiful and bored lady disconcerts their relationship. They will meet again only to say goodbye forever. Mario has finished his studies and goes back to his small-town at parents’ house. This fragment shows the inside of the Teatro Carignano, during an evening event attended by some of the protagonists. The video is a copy from a fragment of the film print restored in 2014 by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna in collaboration with the National Film Center of Tokyo: 35mm, positive, polyester, 1578 m, 77' at 18 fps, black and white, Italian intertitles, silent.
